The Paladin is one of the playable hero classes in Hearthstone. Like the other hero classes, the Paladin has a unique Hero Ability and a set of basic and expert cards that are available exclusively for Paladin decks.
Paladins have both Weapon Cards and Secret Spell Cards, and have cards that allow them to give minions Divine Shield or reduce their stats to 1.
Paladins have direct damage spells, healing and card drawing spells, area of effect damage and stat reduction spells as well as minion buff and de-buff spells to select from.
Paladins can turn the health value of all minions to 1, and deal 2 damage to all enemy minons.

The Paladin class has unique cards that grant Divine Shield to minions and work well with minions that have Divine Shield. The Argent Protector is a 2/2 minion that give another friendly minion Divine Shield when it comes into play, and Hand of Protection is a 1 mana cost spell that give a minion Divine Shield as well.
The Paladin has several secret cards, one of them, Redemption return a friendly minion to the battlefield with 1 health when it dies.
Minions with Divine Shield as part of their card text are returned with an active Divine Shield, making cards such as the 3/1 Scarlet Crusader that has Divine Shield, particularly interesting for Paladins to play.
Card with Charge can attack as soon as they are returned making cards such as Argent Commander - a 4/2 minion with Divine Shield and Charge fantastic as well.
Divine Shield is far from the only thing that Paladins have going for them, they have amazing minion buff spells such as Blessing of Kings that grant a minion +4/+4 and Blessed Champion that double a minnions attack.
In terms of debuffing, Paladins can make a minions attack value 1 with the Aldor Peacekeeper minion or the Humility spell card. Paladins can also affect all minions by dealing 2 damage to all enemy minions with Consecration or changing the health of all minions to 1 with Equality
Paladin Hero Ability
The Paladin hero power is called Reinforce, and like all other Hero powers it can be activated once per turn at the cost of 2 mana. When activated, the Reinforce hero ability summon a 1/1 Silver Hand Recruit minion. Like all other minions without Charge, the Silver Hand Recruit minions can't attack the turn they are summoned.
The Paladin hero ability allow players to build up a small weenie horde of minions, that opposing players need to take very serious.
The Paladin can turn a 1/1 Silver Hand Recruit into a 5/5 minion with Blessing of Kings, or use it to take down a high health minion after using Equality.
Neutral cards such as Raid Leader that give all other minions +1 attack and Stormwind Champion that give all other minions +1/+1 are also popular in Paladin decks.
