The Druid is one of the playable hero classes in Hearthstone. Like the other hero classes, the Druid has a unique Hero Ability and a set of basic and expert cards that are available exclusively for Druid decks.
Druids have no Weapon Cards or Secret Spell Cards, but they have unique cards with different options that can be selected instead.
Druids have direct damage spells, healing spells, area of effect damage spells even minion buff spells to select from.
Druids can use spell cards to increase their mana pool and play high cost cards much faster than any other class.

The Druid class has unique spells that allow the player to select between different card options when playing the cards. These options make that Druid extremely adaptable to different playstyles and decks.
Cards such as Keeper of the Groove can either silence a minion or deal 2 damage to a player or minion, making it a great card for any Druid deck.
Druids have several cards with options, and can select between gaining mana crystals and drawing cards, having creatures with high damage or high health and taunt and damaging or silencing.
The power of the druid minion cards with options should not be ignored. The cards offer serious tactical advantages, and when used with card-bouncing "return effect" minions such as
Ancient Brewmaster - the selections and effects can be repeated!
Druid Hero Ability
The Druid hero power is called Shapeshift, and like all other Hero powers it can be activated once per turn at the cost of 2 mana. When activated, the Shapeshift hero ability grant the Druid hero 1 Armor and 1 Attack. This will allow that Druid hero to attack the opposing hero or a minion.
The Druid hero ability can be used "as it is", or in combination with Spell Cards that grant the Druid hero attack points and armor.
Druids can "take care of" most weak minions by using their shapeshift hero power, and save the hitpoints of their minions for more interesting targets.
Druids will often use their hero ability to attack minions with 1 life when possible instead of trading a minion card for the kill.
