Game description of the Seaweed Dragon
The seaweed dragon is very concerned with its appearance. This dragon is not only social but it craves attention from anyone. For some reason, the only creature it doesn't get along with is the occasional other seaweed dragon.
Breeding and Incubation time:
The normal breeding time for the Seaweed Dragon is 5 hours . The breeding time is reduced to 4 hours with upgraded breeding places.
The incubation time, - the time it will take before the Seaweed egg hatches and the new Seaweed baby dragon is available is 5 hours .
Boosts for Seaweed dragons:
Boost buildings are advanced structures that can be used to earn even more from your park visitors. There are 8 different boost buildings, one for each of the basic elements of the game, and you can build one of each boost building.
Boost buildings only have an effect on the island they are placed on, but as with every other structure in Dragoncale, they can be moved at any time.
The income from your Seaweed dragons can be increased with more than one boost building. If you have one of the positive boost buildings on the same island as a Seaweed dragon, it will result in a 20% increase in . If you have two positive boost buildings on the same island as a Seaweed dragon, the income will increase be 44% and result in even more .
If your Seaweed dragons are affected by 2 positive boost buildings, and one negative boost building, the result will be less compared to having just 1 positive boost building. It is extremely important that your Seaweed dragons are unaffected by negative boost buildings, because their income reduction is applied after any positive boosts.
Negative - Lightning, MetalThe income from your Seaweed dragons can be reduced from more than one boost building. If you have a single negative boost building on the same island as a Seaweed dragon, you will earn 20% less . If you have two negative boost buildings on the same island as a Seaweed dragon, it will earn in 44% less .
What shrines affect the Seaweed dragon
This means that your Seaweed dragons can reach level 15 if you have 50 dragons that are level 10 with just one of the two elements, or level 20 if you have 50 level 15 dragons with any of the two elements.
If you plan on leveling your dragons beyond level 10, you will save 50% of the by breeding Seaweed dragons instead of dragons with just a single element.
Food and income for Seaweed Dragons:
The early Dragonvale game is more about exploring the many different dragons, structures and options than anything else. During this part of the game, your Seaweed dragons are allowed to reach level 10 at max. The table below show how much you need in order to level your Seaweed dragons during the first part of the game, and how much the Seaweed dragons earn in the different levels.
Once you've played Dragonvale a little longer, you will be able to build your first Bronze Shrine Building. With a great deal of time and work, the shrine will make it possible for you to upgrade your Seaweed dragons from level 10 to level 15.
You need no less than 50 dragons with one of the two elements that your Seaweed dragons has, and the matching shrine building ( Water, Plant ) before your Seaweed dragons can be upgraded from level 10 to level 11.
It is important to note that the 50 level 10 dragons must have the same element before the Shrine building will allow you to upgrade your Seaweed dragons from level 10 to level 11. It is not good enough if you have 25 level 10 dragons with each of the two elements.
Your shrine building is transformed from Broze to Silver, and will allow you to upgrade the Seaweed dragons once the transformation is complete.
After even more work and millions of , your silver shrine buildings will transform into Gold Shrine buildings. This will make it possible to upgrade your Seaweed dragons from level 15 to level 20. As with the previous shrine system, you must have 50 level 15 dragons with the same element in order to progress further than level 15 with your Seaweed dragons.
Seaweed dragon and the Racetrack
The Marshlands racetrack is best played with the Swamp Dragon or the Seaweed Dragon.
If you chose to play with a special element dragon (such as the Gemstone, Rainbow and Olympus dragons), you will only be competing with other special element dragons - meaning that none of the dragons will have any special advantages.
